Refunds & Returns
Last updated: 14 June 2026
We keep Travel X gear affordable by trimming the extras - not by skimping on the stuff that actually counts. So here is the honest, no-fine-print version of how our warranty, returns and refunds work.
Our 12-month warranty
Every Travel X product comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults. If something seems genuinely faulty, we will troubleshoot it with you first and replace it if we cannot get it sorted. The one catch: you need to have done the Travel X stress test and registered your warranty within 72 hours of your order arriving. It takes two minutes - here is how.
Heads up: the warranty covers manufacturing faults only. It does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, or anything that has gone wrong from misuse or incorrect inflation.
The Travel X Stress-Test
Here is the deal: when your product arrives, inflate it and leave it overnight or format least 6 hours. Still firm and standing tall ? You are good to go. That is the Travel X Stress-Test - a two-minute job that catches any fault while you are still safely on the ground. Because let us be real: we cannot help you fix anything at 35,000 feet. Do the test, then lock in your cover (next step) - all within 72 hours of your order arriving.
Lock in your warranty: register within 72 hours
Once you have done the stress test, register your product here: register your warranty. That is what switches on your 12-month cover. Miss the 72-hour window and the Travel X warranty does not kick in - though your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply no matter what (see below).
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our 12-month warranty sits on top of your Australian Consumer Law rights - it never replaces them. Here is the official bit, word for word:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
How to make a warranty claim
Email us at info@travelxstore.com.au with:
- your order number;
- a quick photo or video of what is going on; and
- the date your order arrived.
Please do not post anything back to us until we have given you the green light - a lot of issues are a quick valve or inflation fix we can talk you through in minutes. If it does need to come back, we will send you the where and how.
Change of mind
Hand on heart, we do not do change-of-mind returns or refunds. Skipping a returns program is part of what keeps our prices low, so we cannot swap or refund a product simply because you have had a rethink - or because an airline knocked it back when you had not checked it was allowed before buying. None of this affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Not sure something is right for your child or your airline? Ask us before you buy - that is exactly what our airline quiz and airline list are for, and we are always happy to point you to the right pick.
Airlines
Airline rules on inflatable and in-seat comfort devices are all over the place and can change without notice. Our airline quiz and airline list give you a solid steer, but please confirm directly with your airline before you purchase.
If crew will not let you use it onboard, that is not a fault with the product, so we are not able to refund it. If the product itself is faulty, that is a different story - covered under the warranty and the Australian Consumer Law above.
Genuine Travel X products only
Our warranty and support only cover genuine Travel X products bought directly from travelxstore.com.au by the original purchaser. Lookalikes from other sites or sellers, sadly, are not ours to back.
